family relationships.
What the program offers
Services are provided to families with children and youth (ages 0-19) experiencing crises or challenges that threaten family stability, child safety and wellbeing. The aim is to strengthen and preserve families, utilizing the family’s strengths and needs to prevent child out of home placement and support reunification.
What you can expect from the program
Each family works with one primary counsellor developing a brief, home based, multiple component intervention plan in direct collaboration with the family and Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) social workers, including other community services when indicated.
Please Note: The Family Preservation and Reunification is a gated service for families involved with MCFD social workers.
