Do you know about Foundry? Foundry brings health and social services together in a single place to make it easier for young people to find the care, connection and support they need.
Young people aged 12-24 and their caregivers can utilize the Foundry BC app to access drop-in or schedule virtual counselling appointments, find peer support, join a group or browse their library of tools and resources.
Visit the Foundry BC website to access a range of tools and apps to help you manage and prevent challenges from getting in the way of your daily life!
For more information about Foundry and other resources available to youth on the Sunshine Coast, contact our Youth Outreach program. This program works to increase youth safety, by connecting and referring youth to local resources, focusing on risk reduction and providing the community with a broader understanding of youth issues. The program is open to youth aged 13-23 yrs.
We connect youth to local resources that offer info on:
- Drug and alcohol awareness
- Sexual health
- Employment
- Housing
- Youth events and spaces
You will find our Youth Outreach team out and about in the community (beaches, shopping malls, skate parks and community centres) looking to help answer any questions and making sure youth are safe.
The Youth Outreach team is available through phone or text message at 604-865-0178 (leave confidential messages 24/7), or through Instagram: @scyouthoutreach.
