Donate To Community Services
Your generous donation goes directly to supporting pregnant women and new parents, families, children, youth, adults, and seniors through the provision of crisis response, support programs, housing, and advocacy. Help build our community and make the Sunshine Coast stronger, safer and more resilient.
Your donation is truly appreciated and supports more than 30 programs that offer services to those in our community who are under-resourced and face barriers to accessing services:
Where it is needed most
Your donation lets us direct the funds where most needed. To identify an area you prefer to support, please specify which program in the message area of the donation form.
Community Services (Sechelt) Food Bank
Demand for Food Bank services has increased significantly as many people struggle with the rising costs of living on the Coast. Your donation increases our spending power to purchase much-needed supplies for the Food Bank.
Building Together
Support our capital campaign to raise funds for our redevelopment project. Building Together will build 34 units of affordable housing for women and children and a new hub for programs and services for the whole community.
Arrowhead Clubhouse
Your donation to Arrowhead Clubhouse supports people living with mental illness on the Sunshine Coast by providing a welcoming place to come to learn skills, get support and build relationships in a safe, stigma-free environment.
Other ways to donate
Are you ready to be a part of something bigger than yourself? Giving monthly allows you to extend your donations throughout the year. It also provides Sunshine Coast Community Services with a steady source of funding to help support all of our programs.
Monthly giving means low administration costs, which means more of your money goes to where it's needed most: creating an engaged, healthy and thriving Sunshine Coast.
Planned gifts create opportunities for both Sunshine Coast Community Services and our donors. Including Community Services in your estate plan can help secure the future of our programs while helping you achieve your financial goals.
Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift. There are many options from which you can choose.
- Bequests (gifts by will or living trust)
- Gift of Life Insurance
- Gift of Retirement Plan
- Personal Property
- Real Estate
You and your friends, family or club can raise money to support Sunshine Coast Community Services in a variety of ways. One way is to plan an event, large or small in scale where you raise funds. The path to launching a fundraising event typically begins with an idea and plan of action that is presented to Community Services. Charity auctions, 5K walk/run events or trivia nights all make great fundraisers! All events must be approved in advance to ensure cost-efficient, transparent and effective fundraising that fulfill our mission.
