Why be a volunteer?

Because volunteers make a difference and can change lives - plus, you meet new people, learn new skills, take on a challenge, have fun, and most importantly, make a difference.

Who are volunteers?

Volunteers come from all backgrounds. Volunteers are working people, students, non-working people, professionals, young people and retirees. In 2021, 142 volunteers donated 12,120 hours of their time to SCCSS – the equivalent of more than six full-time positions!
