For parents and caregivers with children 0-6, this is a free program that offers activities for children as well as opportunities for parents to meet and chat and to connect with trained and certified staff around parenting or child development concerns. The program also offers family support activities including Mother Goose, Cooking with Kids, Toy/Book Swap, and Family Movement.
Resources on all aspects of parenting and child/family development are available. Babies, toddlers and preschool children enjoy the many different activities offered in this busy, colourful and fun-filled setting.
Parent-Tot, Family Resource Program is funded federally through Public Health Agency Canada (PHAC), provincially through the Ministry for Children and Family Development (MCFD) and locally through Success By 6, the Jean and Arthur Clark Endowment, the Town of Gibsons, the Sunshine Coast Regional District, and private donations.
